School fees

A large portion of the operating costs of St. Mary’s is paid to the school through Government Grants. Both the State and Federal Governments give grants to our school to help pay operating cost (approx. 2/3 Federal and 1/3 State). However, both Governments expect the school to raise some funding themselves. In 2001 St. Mary’s community is required to raise $84,160.00. We do this through Family Fees @ $690.00 per family. These fees can be paid Annually, Termly, Monthly, Fortnightly, Weekly or by special arrangement. If any family is having problems meeting fee payment, please contact either the Parish Priest of Principal. Government sponsored Education Maintenance Allowance is available to help pay school costs. This allowance is applied for at the beginning of terms one and three.
